Reviews

David Edelstein Slate | October 23, 2012

The movie is better than you've heard, although that's not saying a lot.

Jonathan Rosenbaum Chicago Reader | October 23, 2012

This keeps one reasonably amused, titillated, and brain-dead for a little over two hours.

Derek Adams Time Out | January 26, 2006

Apted ensures it all passes by efficiently enough. And his extraordinarily well staged opening salvo is one of the most impressive Bond sequences yet.

Mick LaSalle San Francisco Chronicle | June 18, 2002

A thoroughly satisfying, completely entertaining film that's also, rather surprisingly, an emotionally full experience.

Tom Keogh Film.com | January 01, 2000

The most satisfying Bond film since 1987's The Living Daylights.

Michael Wilmington Chicago Tribune | January 01, 2000

A distinct improvement over Tomorrow.

Louis B. Parks Houston Chronicle | January 01, 2000

Fans who prefer Bond to just shut up and shoot people will not be disappointed.
