Thumbelina (Jodi Benson) thinks she is the only tiny person in the whole world but when she meets Prince Cornelius (Gary Imhoff), the prince of the fairies, she knows she has found true love. But one night while sleeping, she is snatched from her bed and taken on a harrowing journey where she meets Mrs. Toad
(Charo) and Mr. Beetle (Gottfried), who want to make her a star. While Thumbelina struggles to find a way home to her prince, she learns who her true friends are, the consequences of fame... and the importance of hope.
